I’m Laura Silcock, founder of Jump Starter. Through the last three decades, I’ve worked in industries ranging from fashion to pharmaceuticals with start-ups, corporates, household names, charities and agencies and more. My career started out in PR before moving into copywriting and brand voice, with some house building on the side.

I’ve seen marketing, operational and people challenges from the inside and built a solid network of experienced contacts, collaborators and mentors. Including experts in marketing, systems, HR and procurement, as well as serial entrepreneurs, coaches and virtual assistants. Wired for success
As a business owner, I know how lonely it can feel and the strain of keeping so many wheels turning. And I understand the obstacles that life and the way we’re all wired differently can spring on work.
I was diagnosed as autistic when I was 47 and I support close family members with autism, ADHD and anxiety. So I see the challenges, but also amazing strengths, that neurodivergence can bring.
